Folding opera glasses — 3D design study
A pair of opera glasses that folds into a compact block and opens on a telescopic handle. A personal 3D design study.

The challenge
Classic opera glasses are elegant but awkward to carry: a fixed handle and a bridge that never folds away. The aim: a pair that slips into a pocket as easily as it is held up during a performance.
What BEDJA STUDIO did
BEDJA STUDIO designed and modelled the glasses in 3D: two barrels in gloss black with polished chrome rims, joined by hinged arms to a central column. Folded, the barrels close together into a compact block. Opened, the handle telescopes out so the glasses can be held at eye level, with a cord loop at the end. A crosshair monogram on the collar finishes the detail.
The outcome
A complete 3D model and a set of photorealistic renders in three positions: folded, opened, and extended on the handle.
