I design products.
Then I build companies around them.

It started with a parking problem. For my master’s thesis in Product Development at the University of Antwerp, I designed Claxonn: an app and a digital number plate that let garage owners share the empty spot in front of their garage. I turned it into my first start-up. It didn’t survive as a business, but it left me with two lessons: idle space can be shared, and the right partners are existential.

Along the way I took on senior design roles in digital teams, including Optimile and Coteng. Through BEDJA DESIGN, my design practice, I kept working for clients too: eyewear collections for Odette Lunettes, original frames for Binôche’s Sealed line, and brands, websites and dashboards for companies like Axalta, Parkwind and Durme-Natie.

The parking idea grew into Cocom, a space-sharing app that won Silver at the Henry van de Velde Awards and grew to a team of more than fifteen. Then came Ortelius, AI software for connected supply chains, which took me from Antwerp to the World Ports Conferences in Abu Dhabi and Hamburg to the FIATA Digital Lab in Geneva, and to the FIATA World Congress in Vietnam with a blueprint for digital port ecosystems and international supply chains. In parallel, I co-founded Solar Noon Capital, a fund for supply-chain technology, and led its investor relations across the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

BEDJA DESIGN has grown into BEDJA STUDIO, which brings both sides together: the designer who sweats the details, and the founder who has raised money, hired teams and lived with the consequences.
