Courtly — your AI referee for racket sports
An app that turns your phone into an AI referee for padel and other racket sports: it keeps the score, records the rallies and coaches your game.

The challenge
In padel and tennis, a lot of time goes to discussions: was the ball in or out, whose turn is it to serve, what is the score? And getting better usually means hours on court with an expensive coach.
What BEDJA STUDIO did
Courtly was co-designed by BEDJA STUDIO with Matthias Van Den Bergen. Together they designed the brand and the app around one promise: keep the game fair, fast and friendly, without taking control away from the players.
Players set up a match in a few steps: choose the activity and the place, invite friends and opponents, and place their phones by the court, guided by markers on the screen. During the game the AI tracks the score from the phone cameras; players can overrule it or replay the point. Afterwards they find the result, every set and the recordings from all participants, can save highlights and share them, and get advice from a virtual coach on technique and tactics.
The brand pairs a court-line monogram with a bright green on black.
The outcome
A complete brand and app design, from match set-up to live scoring, recordings and statistics, with padel first and tennis to follow.
